There are a few things you need to do before your are able to butcher pals in Palworld. Make sure you reach at least level 11 to unlock the option to build a high-quality workbench, for which you will need 15 ingots, 50 pieces of wood, and 10 nails.

Then, you need to reach level 12 to be able to forge the meat cleaver. To do that, you will need 5 ingots, 20 pieces of wood, and 5 stones. Now, go to the high-quality workbench and click on the meat cleaver to start production. Once it’s completed, equip the weapon.

Finally, you will learn how to butcher pals in Palworld. First, choose which pals you want to basically kill. Press “E” on your keyboard to summon your pal, then press “4” to open up the action wheel. You will notice that unless you are holding the meat cleaver, the butcher option will not appear.

All you have to do is click on the butcher option to start butchering your pal in Palworld. The only thing that happens after that is that you get your pal’s loot.
