Hogwarts Legacy – How to Catch a Hippogriff (Male and Female) – Easy Guide
Wazzup everyone, welcome back to another guide on how to catch a hippogriff in Hogwarts Legacy on nintendo Switch. This also works on PC, playstation and Xbox.
Open up your map, and look for the Feldcroft Region. Then, On the right side of the Feldcroft floo flame, you will find the hippogriff den. In this area, you can encounter one male and one female hippogriff. But before we venture there, it’s essential to ensure we’re equipped with the right spells.
For this guide, I’ll be relying on the Glacius spell as the primary option and keeping Levioso at hand in case the hippogriff tries to flee. Additionally, I’ll utilize the Disillusionment spell to prevent the hippogriff from detecting us and escaping. Lastly, make sure your nab-sack is prepared.
We’re going to catch the male hippogriff first, then right next to him we’ll catch the female one. Now, let’s hop on our broomsticks and capture some hippogriffs in Hogwarts Legacy. Simply follow the highlighted path on your mini-map.
Upon reaching the Hippogriff Den, cast the Disillusionment spell and approach your target. Once you’re close enough, cast the Glacius spell, then quickly use the nab-sack and start pressing the “Y” button on your controller. You’ll need to complete 5 full circles. If the hippogriff tries to flee, use Levioso and the nab-sack once more. Remember to vigorously press the “Y” button continuously; that technique worked well for me.
To get the female hippogriff, just keep watching the video and repeat the process. If you manage to capture one male and one female, breeding them is possible. I’ll explain how to breed these creatures in Hogwarts Legacy later.
