Hogwarts Legacy – How to Catch Beasts Walkthrough – Super Easy Guide

Gaming Guides Hogwarts Legacy

Wazzup everyone, welcome back to another guide on how to catch beats in Hogwarts Legacy on Nintendo Switch. This also works on PC, Playstation and Xbox.

To catch beasts in Hogwarts legacy, you must first complete the quest ‘The Elf, the Nab-Sack, and The Loom,’ which is quest number 31.

If you haven’t located it yet, don’t worry; simply follow the main quest line, and you’ll come across it I’m just outside Hogwarts, in a region called Hogsmead Valley. To the left side of the map is where you can find some unicorns to catch. But before we head there, we need to make sure we have the right spells set.

If you’re unsure how to change spells, check out our video in the card section above. For this video, I’ll be using the Glacius spell as the primary option and Leviosa in case the unicorn tries to run away.

Additionally, I’ll use the Disillusionment spell to ensure the unicorn doesn’t notice me and tries to escape. Finally, make sure you have the nab-sack ready.

Now, let’s hop on our broom and learn how to catch beasts in Hogwarts Legacy. Once you reach the unicorn’s location, cast the Disillusionment spell and approach your prey. When you’re close enough, cast the Glacius spell, then immediately use the nab-sack and start pressing the “Y” button on your controller.

You’ll need to complete 6 full circles. If the unicorn tries to run away, use Leviosa and the nab-sack again. Remember, keep pressing the “Y” button vigorously; that’s what worked for me.
