In this Starfield Guide, I’ll guide you on how to efficiently assign a crew to your ship or outpost. It’s a straightforward process, so let’s get started.

Before you dive into crew assignments, it’s essential to have crew stations in place. You can easily locate these stations in the “Miscellaneous” section, and the process is quite straightforward.

First, press the “Tab” key to access your screen. From there, navigate to the “Ship” section. Here, you’ll find your ship listed, and under that, you can click on “Crew” to manage your crew assignments.

Now, you’ll see a list of crew members and their possible assignments, including your ship and outposts. To assign a crew member, you’ll notice prompts at the bottom of the screen: “E” and “R.”

For example, if you want to assign Einstein Barrett, simply press “R” and confirm. If you need to assign more crew members, repeat the process using “E” for confirmation. This method also works for ship and outpost assignments.
