The Ones Who Live, the latest addition to The Walking Dead universe, is already making waves in the United States with its impactful debut.

Launched on March 25th, this spin-off series has not only captured fans’ attention but has also established itself as the most-watched program on AMC, attracting over 1 million viewers on cable TV.

On its debut night alone, a Sunday, nearly 896 thousand people tuned in to watch the first episode.

This significant number was further boosted by an additional 207 thousand viewers from We TV and BBC America, which also aired the inaugural episode.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time The Walking Dead spin-offs have broken records on AMC.

Prior to “The Ones Who Live,” other derivative series such as “Daryl Dixon” and “Dead City” had already set new audience benchmarks for the network.
