Before you start assigning pals to jobs, make sure they can actually perform the task by checking their abilities. Just press “F” while facing them to see what tasks they can handle.

It’s a quick process but incredibly helpful in efficiently managing various tasks, especially with the many jobs available in the game. to assign pals to jobs in Palworld, all you need to do is to approach your pal and you’ll see options to lift them up by pressing “V” on your keyboard.

Then, simply throw them at the job you want them to do. You’ll see the option to “fixed assignment to” followed by the task name. The other option is press and hold “E” to aim, and then throw your pal to work where you want. They’ll continue doing this task as long as there’s work.

If they finish one task, they’ll move on to the next available one. Keep in mind that the AI may not always reassign them efficiently.
